Jerky DirectTM Storefront Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) Question: Why would I want to become a Jerky DirectTM Storefront Owner? Answer: Maybe because you like the jerky! Maybe because you want to buy more jerky (to eat) at wholesale prices! Maybe because you own a general foods or health foods store and want to retail the wholesale product! Maybe because you want to sell on consignment at others' stores! Maybe because you are involved in fundraising efforts in your community! Maybe because you see the simplicity and potential of the compensation plan! Maybe because you see that this is a great product to introduce to your network marketing organization! Maybe because you want to own your own business! Maybe because it is fun! Maybe because you can afford it! (The reasons are just about as varied as the personalities involved!) --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Question: How do I become a Jerky DirectTM Storefront Owner? Answer: Simply Enroll at your sponsor's website to have two 3-4oz bags of jerky (your choice of flavor/style) sent to your doorstep or mailbox every month. There is a $12 charge for the two bags of jerky you receive (plus shipping - see below) - this is the only charge you will ever need to pay for maintaining your Jerky DirectTM Business. You may cancel your Storefront at any time. Note: We recommend you contact your sponsor first, as they may want you to enter a name in the "Placed Under" field other than their own. (Many sponsors use this to help their downline members build their own organizations.) --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Question: Are there any requirements I must meet to remain a Storefront Owner? Answer: Only that you continue to receive your autoshipment of jerky every month. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Question: Does Jerky DirectTM have quotas for their Storefront Owners? Answer: No. Jerky DirectTM Storefront Owners are free to run their business as they wish. They can sell as much or as little as they wish. Some remain a Storefront Owner just to receive their own jerky autoshipment every month and to purchase for themselves at wholesale. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Question: How much is shipping? Answer: All monthly autoshipments, no matter how large, are shipped at a flat rate of $1.97 per order. Retail and wholesale orders are shipped at the prevailing UPS rates. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Question: How much is it to get a website? Answer: Nothing. Jerky DirectTM provides every Storefront Owner with a free company sponsored website for as long as they retain their storefront. The website is up and running immediately upon signing up. When you sign up for Jerky DirectTM, you will be able to pick any name for your website that you would like (e.g., http://[yourstorename].jerkydirect.com). This allows for some creative advertising, too! Your website also has a backoffice to help you run your business and track your customers, as well as your downline history and commissions. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Question: Am I allowed to advertise my Jerky DirectTM Storefront? Answer: Absolutely. You can advertise however you want and wherever you want. Flyers, banner ads, classified ads, TV ads, radio ads and anything else you can think of. If you advertise online, however, do NOT send unsolicited commercial email (UCE), aka SPAM. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Question: Can I sell on eBay and other online auctions? Answer: Yes, but please check individual auction site regulations and policies, as they may have restrictions, and be sure to abide by them. Note: Both eBay and Stormpay seem to have accepted at least some of the auctions our Storefront Owners are running. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Question: What else does Jerky DirectTM offer its Storefront Owners? Answer: Jerky DirectTM will provide you with printable templates for your business cards (both front and back!), letterhead, envelopes, brochures, flyers - all FREE. As with most other companies, there are also Promotional Items you can purchase - caps, shirts, printed brochures, presentation CDs, booklets, display racks, etc. These are available in all members' back offices. Plus, Jerky DirectTM offers one of the most lucrative payout commissions available (See next Question). --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Question: So how much can I expect to earn by being a Jerky DirectTM Storefront Owner? Answer: What you earn is a direct result of your OWN efforts. You may ask for and receive Lots of help and support, but YOUR efforts determine YOUR paycheck. Here are the ways you can earn money: - Storefront Owners can purchase at wholesale prices and sell at retail prices. - Storefront Owners receive a 20% commission on all online retail orders placed through their websites. - Storefront Owners receive 5% commission on all wholesale purchases made by their first generation downline (the people directly under them). - Storefront Owners receive 5% commission on all online retail purchases made through their first generation downline's websites. - Storefront Owners receive a bonus on every Storefront Owner they help sign up into their downline - up to seven (7) generations deep**. **For every person that signs up under you for a $12 autoshipment of jerky, you will receive a bonus.
